“The Green Street Car Wash", located in Mission Viejo, CA., is a $775,000.00 project for Bergman KPRS Construction. The project scope includes approx.. 2,200 Lf of storm drain, 650 Lf of sewer, 450 LF domestic and fire water, some very challenging offsite sewer and water work, and a massive 121'x21' storm detention unit. As with all our projects, Green Street Car Wash is not without its unique challenges. The project is located directly adjacent Marguerite Ave. and Avery Pkwy. with deep tie-ins and installations on both sides of the very busy intersection. As well, placement of such a large detention basin on a small site like this, really challenges the whole team to pre plan the dig, delivery, placement, and backfill operations with a strong focus on keeping all trades moving forward for the sake of the overall project.
